As a graphic designer at Phoenix Medical Supplies, my role is quite diverse and exciting. I have the privilege of working on various projects that involve designing both print and digital materials. Here's a closer look at what I do:
First and foremost, I am responsible for designing one of two magazines each month. This involves using my creativity and design skills to craft visually stunning layouts, carefully selecting fonts and typography, and arranging images and content in an engaging and informative way. It's a fantastic opportunity to showcase our products and services to our audience.
Another significant part of my job is creating all the point-of-sale (POS) assets, such as posters, shelf talkers, and strut cards. These materials are crucial for promoting our products and offers in pharmacies and other retail locations. I get to experiment with different designs and concepts to grab customers' attention and drive sales.
One of the most fulfilling aspects of my role is creating branding from scratch for all new company branches. This involves designing logos, choosing brand colors, and developing comprehensive brand guidelines to ensure consistency across all marketing materials. It's a chance for me to establish a visual identity that represents the unique character of each branch.
I am also responsible for crafting captivating social media posts and designing social media imagery. This means designing graphics, infographics, banners, and other visual content that effectively communicates our message and engages our online audience on platforms like Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn.
Additionally, I create specified artwork for individual pharmacy branches. This could include signage, window displays, or promotional materials that are tailor-made for each branch, considering their specific needs and characteristics.
Company events are another exciting part of my role. I am in charge of designing all the artwork for these events, including posters, banners, invitations, and other promotional materials. I strive to create a visually appealing and cohesive event branding that leaves a lasting impression on attendees.
Lastly, I am responsible for designing professional and visually appealing PowerPoint presentations. This involves creating slides that effectively convey information, incorporating visual elements to enhance the overall look and feel, and ensuring a consistent and polished appearance throughout.
In summary, my role as a graphic designer at Phoenix Medical Supplies is multifaceted and rewarding. I get to design magazines, create POS assets, develop branding for new branches, design social media graphics, produce specified artwork for pharmacy branches, create artwork for company events and design PowerPoint presentations. It's an exciting journey that allows me to showcase my creativity and contribute to the overall success of the company's marketing efforts.
